This site, "Hinomi Map" (hereinafter "the Service"), exists to visualise fire incidents at temples, shrines, pig farms, and poultry farms in Japan on an interactive map, in order to make this information more accessible to the public.

2. Data sources

The data used by the Service is secondary information compiled from articles published by news organisations. Each record's sources field includes the source URL, the publisher, and the access timestamp.

Copyright in the original articles belongs to each publisher. The Service references them within the scope of citation / summarisation; please follow each source's own terms of service for details.

3. Disclaimer

The Service exists to visualise fire incidents based on public news reports, and does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the data. The operator assumes no responsibility for damages resulting from use of the Service. For accurate facts, please consult the original source linked from each record.

Causes of fires and similar attributes are treated as secondary information based on news reports and police announcements, not as definitive facts.

4. Prohibited actions

• Tampering with the Service's data and redistributing it.
• Unauthorised access to the Service or placing excessive load on its servers.
• Using the Service's data to defame any specific individual or organisation.
